Overview
PixelFly provides server-side event tracking services with generous usage limits on each subscription plan. This Fair Use Policy ensures equitable access to our resources for all customers while maintaining optimal system performance. By using PixelFly, you agree to use our service in accordance with this policy.
Event Tracking Limits
Each subscription plan includes a specific monthly event allocation:

Payment Methods: Bangladesh customers can pay via bKash, Nagad, or bank transfer. International customers can pay via credit/debit card through Paddle.

What Counts as an Event
An "event" is any tracking request sent through PixelFly to your configured platforms. This includes PageView, ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Purchase, Lead, and custom events.
Important: Each event sent to each platform counts separately. A Purchase event to both Meta and GA4 counts as 2 events.
Exceeding Your Limits
Notifications: We notify you at 80% (email), 90% (email + dashboard), and 100% (email + dashboard) of your limit.
What happens: Events continue during a grace period. You'll be encouraged to upgrade. Consistent overuse prompts discussion about upgrading. Extreme overuse (200%+) may result in throttling.

Prohibited Uses
Fraudulent Events: Sending fake, bot-generated, or artificially inflated events; gaming advertising platforms; intentional duplicates.
System Abuse: Stress-testing or overloading systems; circumventing limits; using multiple accounts to exceed limits.
Unauthorized Usage: Tracking websites you don't own or manage; reselling access; competitive intelligence or scraping.
Containers & Websites
Each plan includes a specific number of tracking containers (pixels/tracking setups). Each container represents a unique configuration for a website or domain.
Fair Use: Each container should serve a single website or related domains. Creating multiple containers to circumvent limits is prohibited. Unused containers may be reclaimed after 90 days of inactivity.
API Usage
For custom integrations: standard rate limit is 100 requests per minute per container. Batch requests are recommended for high-volume implementations. Contact us for higher limits for legitimate use cases.
Monitoring & Enforcement
We monitor usage to ensure fair access. We may contact you about unusual patterns. Violations may result in warnings, throttling, or suspension. Repeated or severe violations may lead to termination.
Violation Consequences
First: Warning email. Second: Temporary throttling. Third: Account suspension pending review. Severe: Immediate termination without refund.
High-Volume Users
If you consistently need more events, have seasonal traffic spikes (holidays), or manage multiple clients as an agency, contact support@pixelfly.io to discuss Enterprise or custom plans.
Policy Changes
We may update this policy to reflect service or usage changes. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
