Why we built PixelFly

Md Mahedi Hasan has been writing code and building websites and software since 2014, and running servers and hosting along the way. From the day he started learning to code, his dream was to build software of his own.

For more than four years he ran the data tracking for Uddokta Ecommerce, our own complete e-commerce platform, and saw up close how big the tracking gap in Bangladesh was:

  • Expensive. Tracking servers cost too much for most Bangladeshi stores.
  • Hard to pay for. Global tools wanted payment in US dollars, which many businesses here can't easily make.
  • Far away. With no server in Bangladesh, tracking data was slow and events went missing.
  • No local help. When something broke, there was no support in Bangla.

How we built it

Few people in Bangladesh were working on tracking system architecture, so we started with deep research into how tracking, servers and infrastructure fit together. Drawing on his own work as a tracking specialist and on conversations with the country's experienced tracking experts, Md Mahedi Hasan improved the ideas, tested them, and built the first version.

Bangladeshi tracking experts and mentors helped shape PixelFly into a complete tracking solution. Abdullah Al Masum, Sumon Mahmud and Tofayel Ahmad gave their time freely, tested it hands-on and shared feedback, and many friends and well-wishers supported us along the way. We're grateful to every one of them.

After nine to ten months of working day and night, PixelFly launched in December 2025.

Built to match the best global platforms

We didn't just want a cheaper tool. We set out to match the best tracking platforms in the world, and to go further where we could:

  • EMQ Enricher raises your Meta Event Match Quality automatically, so ad platforms match your data more accurately.
  • COD Order Protection keeps fake and unconfirmed orders out of your ad data, so your spend optimizes on real conversions.
  • Cookie Life Extension keeps tracking cookies alive for up to 400 days instead of 7.
  • Ad blocker protection loads tracking from your own domain, so ad blockers don't drop your data.

Small businesses get 15,000 events free every month, and paid plans cost a fraction of what global platforms charge for the same features. That's why stores outside Bangladesh now use PixelFly too.

Built in Jashore, for stores everywhere

PixelFly is built in Jashore, a district in south-west Bangladesh that Grameenphone's documentary asks might become the country's Silicon Valley. A team of 8 works from our first office at Khalid IT, Jashore, with Md Mahedi Hasan as Founder & CEO.

Our servers run in Bangladesh (BDIX), the USA and the UK, with India coming soon, behind more than 300 edge locations worldwide. If a server goes down, another takes over automatically, and traffic moves to other servers when one is busy. Stores in Bangladesh get fast local tracking and local payments with bKash and Nagad; stores elsewhere pay by card and track from the server nearest them.
