WordPress / WooCommerce Plugin
Easiest setup • No coding required • Full e-commerce tracking
Select Container Type:
sGTM Mode: Use your PixelFly-hosted Server-Side GTM container for full GTM control.
Proxy Mode: PixelFly routes events directly to ad platforms. No sGTM server needed.
Prerequisites: You need an sGTM container created in PixelFly dashboard with your custom domain configured.
Install the Plugin
Download the PixelFly for WooCommerce plugin and upload it to your WordPress site.
Download WooCommerce PluginGo to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
Configure Plugin for sGTM
Navigate to WooCommerce → PixelFly and configure for sGTM mode.
- Enable DataLayer for GTM
- Leave API Key empty (not needed for sGTM)
- COD stores: turn on COD Order Protection with mode GTM / sGTM, then switch COD on in the containers (step 4)
Configure GTM Web Container
In your GTM Web Container, set the Server Container URL to your PixelFly sGTM domain.
Set Server Container URL: https://server.yourstore.com
This is your custom domain from PixelFly sGTM container settings.
Import GTM Container Templates
Download our pre-configured container templates for both Web and Server GTM.
Import each container in GTM: Admin → Import Container → Choose file
Server Container includes:
- Meta Conversions API tag
- GA4 tag (with your Measurement ID)
- TikTok Events API (paused until you add your details)
- PixelFly COD Protection and Data Client (off until you switch COD on)
The Web Container also has Google Ads and TikTok tags, paused until you add your IDs. For COD: set PixelFly - COD Protection to on in the Web Container, and fill PixelFly - COD Host and PixelFly - COD API Key in the Server Container.
Publish & Test
Publish both your Web and Server GTM containers. Use GTM Preview mode to debug.
sGTM Benefits
Install the Plugin
Download the PixelFly for WooCommerce plugin and upload it to your WordPress site.
Download WooCommerce PluginGo to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
Configure Plugin Settings
Navigate to WooCommerce → PixelFly and turn on the data layer for GTM.
- API Key: leave empty when you use our GTM container (it sends the server-side events)
- Enable DataLayer for GTM (recommended)
- COD Order Protection → GTM / sGTM mode (v1.2.0+)
With a PixelFly GTM container the plugin’s API Key is optional: the container already sends server-side events. If you enter it, the plugin also sends each purchase from your server with the same event ID (Meta counts it once, but a GA4 Receiver would count it twice). Whenever COD is on in the container, also turn on the plugin’s COD Order Protection (GTM / sGTM mode), otherwise the plugin sends COD purchases at checkout.
Import GTM Container
Download our proxy web container and import it into Google Tag Manager. It’s built on our sGTM web container: Meta Pixel, GA4, Google Ads and TikTok, PixelFly server-side events, reload protection and COD Order Protection.
Download Proxy Web Container (.json)Fill PixelFly API Key, Meta Pixel ID-000 and GA4-FM ID after importing.
In GTM: Admin → Import Container → Choose file
This includes pre-configured tags for all e-commerce events with proper triggers. Full variable list: proxy container setup.
Publish & Test
Publish your GTM container and test the tracking using GTM Preview mode and PixelFly Event Debugger.
