Renewals and plan changes

Every paid plan has two dates: the day it ends (your renewal date) and the day its monthly events reset. The reset day is the same day of the month as your renewal date. A yearly plan also gets a fresh allowance on that day every month.

This page explains what each kind of payment does to those two dates. You never lose time you've paid for: it's either added on top or taken off the price.

Renewing early

Renewing the same plan before it ends adds the new month after your current end date, so the days you already paid for are kept. Your events keep counting as usual and reset on your normal reset day.

Example: your plan ends on Nov 14 and you renew on Oct 20. It now ends on Dec 14. Your events still reset on Nov 14, and the invoice shows the month you paid for: 14 Nov – 14 Dec.

The Renew button appears on My Subscription in the last 7 days of your plan. You can renew at any time from the pricing page.

Close to your limit? Renewing adds time, not events. If you've used 80% or more of this month's events, checkout tells you: if they run out before your reset day, tracking pauses until then. For more events right away, choose a bigger plan instead.

When your events run out

Once a plan has used its events for the month, its containers pause within about 30 minutes and we email you. There are three ways back:

  • Wait for your reset day. Tracking resumes on its own when the new month's events start.
  • Start New Month Now. On a monthly plan you haven't already renewed ahead, My Subscription offers to start a new month today. You buy the same plan again: a full allowance starts today and the plan runs for a month from today. The few days left of the old month aren't added on top, because they had no events left. That way you never pay twice for the same month.
  • Upgrade. A bigger plan resumes tracking as soon as your payment is confirmed. The events you've used count toward its larger allowance.

On a yearly plan, or a plan you've already renewed ahead, buying the same plan again adds time but no events this month. Checkout says so before you pay.

Upgrading or moving to a smaller plan

A new plan starts the day you pay and runs for a full month (or year). Its limits apply right away. The unused days of your current plan come off the price, and checkout shows this before you pay:

credit = what you paid × days left ÷ 30 (÷ 365 for a yearly plan)

Example: you paid ৳1,200 for a month of Starter and 25 days are left. ৳1,000 comes off the price of the new plan.

  • Events you've used this month count toward the new plan's allowance. If a smaller plan can't hold them, its month starts fresh.
  • If your unused days are worth more than the new plan costs (for example, moving from a large plan to a small one early in the month), the change can't be paid online. Switch when your plan is close to renewing, or contact us to switch now.
  • Credit is for time you've paid for. A renewal our team made that isn't paid yet, or a free arrangement, earns no credit.
  • Card checkout (USD) charges the plan's full price and can't take the credit off. Contact us to switch with it.
  • On a smaller plan with more websites or containers than it allows, nothing pauses, but you can't add more until you remove some.

When your plan ends

We email you 7, 3 and 1 day before your plan ends and on the day itself. Bangladeshi numbers also get a text 3 days before, on the last day and after it ends. When the plan ends, its containers pause within about 30 minutes.

  • A payment on the way. Tracking keeps running for up to 72 hours after the end while we confirm it. This covers a bKash, Nagad or bank payment waiting for our check, and a card subscription retrying a payment. Events missed while paused can't be recovered, so we don't cut you off while your money is being confirmed.
  • After 7 days, sGTM servers are stopped and custom domains are released. Your containers and settings are kept.
  • Renewing after the end starts the new month on the day you pay. Paused containers resume, stopped sGTM servers are set up again on the same address, and custom domains reconnect. This can take a few minutes.

Paying by card (automatic renewal)

  • A card subscription renews by itself at the end of each period. Your plan is extended only when the charge goes through.
  • If a charge is declined, the card is retried and tracking keeps running for 72 hours after the end date. When a retry succeeds, your plan is renewed and paused tracking resumes on its own.
  • While a card subscription renews a plan, you can't buy the same plan again, because you'd be billed twice. For more events, choose a bigger plan.
  • A bigger plan by card starts its own subscription. Contact us to cancel the old one, so you aren't billed for both.
  • Cancel on My Subscription stops future charges. The plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for.

Paying by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer

Online payments through EPS activate as soon as they're confirmed. A payment you send yourself, with its transaction ID and screenshot, activates once our team checks it. The new month is counted from your end date when you renew early, or from the day it's approved when your plan has ended.

Months of different lengths

A month runs to the same date in the next month. If that date doesn't exist, it ends on the last day of the shorter month: a plan that renews on Jan 31 ends on Feb 28, not in early March.

Moving to the Free plan

When your paid plan has ended, or ends within 7 days, My Subscription offers Switch to Free Plan. Free limits apply from that moment for 30 days, with a fresh Free allowance of events. Your existing containers, domains and receivers stay, but you can't add more beyond the Free limits.

Invoices, payment links and refunds

  • Every payment gets an invoice showing the period it pays for. All of them are under Billing & Invoices.
  • If you have an agreed price with us, renewals charge that price automatically.
  • If our team renewed your plan before you paid, you'll get a payment link. Paying it settles that bill; it doesn't add more time.
  • A payment that is fully refunded or charged back no longer pays for its period, so your plan's end date moves back to where that period began. See our refund policy.

Something doesn't add up?

Before you pay, checkout tells you exactly what a payment will do to your plan's end date and events. If a date or amount looks wrong, contact us before paying and we'll sort it out.
