COD Order Protection
Your own proxy web container
Add COD Order Protection to a web container that sends events to PixelFly without sGTM.
First turn COD Order Protection on in PixelFly: Step 1.
- Templates → Tag Templates → New → ⋮ → Import pixelfly-cod-protection-web.tpl → Save.
- New tag PixelFly COD Protection (hold): Server hostname =
https://track.pixelfly.io(or your tracking domain), API Key = your container’s API Key, Order data = Auto. Optional: an additional fieldga_session_idwith the GA session ID, so GA4 places the confirmed purchase in the visit from the ad. - Its trigger: your purchase event, when the payment method is COD (or empty).
- Every tag that sends a purchase (Meta Pixel, GA4, Google Ads, TikTok and the PixelFly server-side tag): add that trigger as an exception.
- In PixelFly, add Receivers for the platforms the confirmed purchase should reach.
