COD Order Protection

Our ready-made sGTM containers

The fastest setup for stores with a PixelFly sGTM server: import two containers and fill a few variables.

First turn COD Order Protection on in PixelFly: Step 1.

Download the web and server containers and import each one (GTM → Admin → Import Container). For a container you already set up, import into a new workspace and copy your IDs over: Merge → Overwrite replaces values you filled in.

Server container

  • PixelFly - COD Host = the Hold URL without /cod/hold (e.g. https://abcd1234.pixelfly.io).
  • PixelFly - COD API Key = your container’s API Key (pf_live_…).
  • Facebook CAPI: Pixel ID and access token. GA4-Server Side: your Measurement ID.
  • Google Ads (optional): fill PixelFly - Google Ads Conversion ID (numbers only) and … Conversion Label, then un-pause Google Ads Conversion (COD confirmed).

Web container

  • Google Tag: set the server container URL to your sGTM domain. Meta Pixel: Meta Pixel ID-000.
  • Google Ads (optional): the web Google Ads tags handle prepaid orders; use the same conversion ID and label as the server tag, and un-pause the AW Tag and Conversion Linker so the ad click (gclid) is saved.
  • PixelFly - COD Protection = on.

Publish the server container first, then the web one. Until the host and API key are filled in, nothing is held: purchases go out as usual.
